Amazon just slashed the price of its $159 Kindle Fire to $129 for Cyber Monday, making it one of the cheapest quality tablets you can buy.
But while that is definitely a deal, a tablet isn't just for Christmas. I recommend the $129 Kindle Fire tablet for a tween or young teen. They're careless enough that you don't want to spend a penny extra on a breakable electronic device for them. Amazon's Freetime lets you control how much time they spend reading versus playing games, and the Amazon Appstore has plenty of great apps.

Have you ever wondered if you would be rich? What do you think or feel when you hear the word rich? Do you think it is for only a few? Why do you feel the way you do?
For me it was something that I thinks would be awesome. To be rich and financially free, but I didn't believe it was going to happen for me. Not that I have not had great success in my businesses but not the type of success that equaled financially free, debt free.
My definite purpose in life is to help my family achieve what they want. To teach my children the principles of the Law of Success and the Law of Attraction. Having a clear purpose in their minds of what they want. Believing what they want they will have.
I am showing them this by leading by example. They are seeing me go through a journey of reprogramming my mind and living my life in the present.
I didn't really think too much more about it until after living financially a good life and seeing i quickly turn into a financial nightmare. Then I started to feel like life could not get worse. One bad thing was happening to me after another. Why? Why me?
I have always gone out of my way to help people. I have given thousands to friends and co-workers in their time of need. Isn't that suppose to come back to you in your time of need. When you need it?
I had no motive for helping people. I just have a big heart and if able, I give, not expecting anything in return. Is that the right thing to do though?
I had to do a lot of soul searching and I had to research this law of success and figure out why things were the way the were for me. I am a good person, a God Fearing person, a loving person. I have not hurt anyone. Why did it seem like everyone around me had it good, had a better life, were blessed. Many of them were not good people and I knew for a fact they did not put others first.
After losing everything I had worked so hard for and realized that not one person I helped was there for me, I had to figure this out. Was I not really a friend to them. Did they just use me? Did I enable them to be who they are? Why can't I say no.
I had to look at me and the full picture. I had to take responsibility for my choices that lead me to where I was. Was it anyone else's fault? Or just mine?
The truth is that I had given out so much money that it actually hurt my family and I. I was not going to get blessed for doing this because I was to take care of me and my family first. You cannot help others until you help yourself first. Once I learned this, I was able to say no. People that I thought were my friends, as soon as I said No to loaning them money or doing their work for them, quit calling me. I had friendships based on what I could do for them and it was not mutual.
I realized that my family was my priority. I had to shift my thoughts. It is not selfish to take care of you first. I had hurt my family to help others that didn't even appreciate it.
You deserve to be Rich and can be Rich
This leads me to what else I learned. I have found that I thought down deep that money or being rich was bad. Money was the root of all evil. I thought the bible taught it was a sin. Now that I have researched this I have found that God does want you to have money, he wants you to be rich and he wants you to have what your desire.
“Whatsoever things ye ask for when ye pray, believe that ye
receive them, and ye shall have them,” said Jesus.
Wow that is powerful. It is not enough to pray and ask for what we want but we need to believe we will receive them.
This means that if you want a specific house or income, you need to believe you have it and then and only then will you have it.
This is a huge topic so I can't touch on all of it in this article but I want you to realize, today, that you are the way you are, have what you have and do what you do, based on what you BELIEVE.
I strongly suggest you take a journey and dive deep into YOU. What do you want? How can you get it?
Read The Science of Getting Rich and Think and Grow Rich to start with. Read a chapter a day and then do what you see. This will change your thinking in a big way. You will see good things start to happen for you. You will see that GOD gave you a powerful mind that needs the energy from the Universe. With the positive Energy and your Belief, you can have what you want.
I have shared the low times in my life with you, but now because of my practicing what I believe, changing and practicing what I have learned, good things have come to me. Everyday my life gets better. I thank God and I thank the people that are like minded in my life for the influence they have on me.
I am now receiving what I believe I have. It will make sense to you once you have read the books above and researched this for yourself.
I hope that you realize now that your life does not have to be the way it is today. If your life is hard, if you are broke, if you do not have the job you want , the house you want, the car you want, you must change your thoughts today.

Justin Bieber took home the first award of the night at the 40th annual American Music Awards--Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist--but instead of his usual positivity, he set a rather bratty tone for the remainder of the evening. Instead of leading off with the usual accolades (you know: God, parents, hard-working staff, that sort of thing), Bieber chose the rubbing-in route for his thank-you speech. "This is for all the haters who thought I'd be around for 1, 2 years," he announced, adding, "I feel like I'm gonna be here for a very long time."
In all fairness, Bieber was already under scrutiny upon arrival to the show, due to the fact that his breakup with Selena Gomez had just become public only a week ago, and they've been bouncing back and forth from off to on to off again. So, it stands to reason that he might be feeling a little prickly.
At any rate, Bieber, who was left dateless after his separation, rose to the occasion by bringing his mom, Pattie Mallette, as his date to the awards show instead.
Like any modern teenager, he chose social media as his platform to invite Mom, tweeting "@pattiemallette miss u. love u. wanna be my date this weekend? :)" on Thursday. Luckily, Mallette was free on such short notice, and tweeted back, "I would be honored! Love u sooo much!!"
Bieber was a little more gracious when he won the top award of Artist of the Year, choosing that time to thank his mother rather than taunt his haters.
It was a good thing that Bieber had a supportive woman by his side, given that fellow A-lister--and Gomez's bestie--Taylor Swift was nearby in the audience. No word if the two shared any cordialities with each other; but unlikely as Swift reportedly had dinner with Gomez Saturday night--one day after Gomez and Bieber shared a disastrous dinner date on Friday.
The American Music Awards aired live from Los Angeles on ABC November 18.

Employees of the retail giant, Walmart, were informed they would have to work on Thanksgiving Holiday. Walmart states it is to get a jump start on accommodating the needs of the Holiday Shoppers.
Angry workers are not taking kindly to the prospect of working on the holiday instead of spending the time with their families, hence the Walmart walkout already in progress. According to a Nov. 16, 2012 report by FOX News, one such disgruntled employee is Charlene Fletcher. She and her husband William are employed at the Walmart in Duarte, Calif. The couple has two children, ages two and five. Both Charlene and William are upset because they are scheduled to work on Thanksgiving instead of being able to spend the national holiday with their kids.
“It’s heartbreaking to miss the holiday with them, and it’s just one more way that Walmart is showing its disregard for our families,” Fletcher said in a statement. “But when our co-workers speak out about problems like these, Walmart turns their schedules upside down, cuts their hours and even fires people. We’re going on strike for an end to Walmart’s attempts to silence its workers.”

According to The Nation, union employees said to expect about 1,000 strikes or demonstrations in a 9-day period.
The first strike happened in California in October. The walkout soon spread to 28 stores within 12 states.
Walmart spokesman, Kory Lundberg said the walkout is “just another exaggerated publicity campaign aimed at generating headlines to mislead” customers and employees.
The Video below is a news clip that shares that Walmart employees are also striking to demand better equipment and clean water to name a few.
Many stores have always been open on Thanksgiving but not until 8pm. This way, they say they can still have time during the day to spend time with their family.

This year we're are also providing them an additional 10% on one basket of goods. Additionally, we are providing 3 hot meals during the day for the associates that will be working Thanksgiving
Walmart also states they do get Holiday pay.

I want to share with you a past that many have been through and many are still going through right now.
In December of 2006, I had my world fall apart around me. I was a Realtor and I was use to making very good money. I had no problem with paying my $2400 house payment, my two cars, my credit cards and taking care of my kids.
I always had closings and it was so easy to sell homes in a good market. Foreclosures were few and far between. Loans were easy for people to get. LIFE WAS GOOD
That month I had 7 closings fall apart. Literally, for 3 of the closings, my clients lost their jobs. Now I felt so bad for them but it also devastated me.
You see, once you are use to an income and rely on it, and it is yanked out from underneath you in one month, you can't catch up. I had NO income coming in that month and it was set to be over a $50,000 month.
I didn't know what to do. Things just go worse from there. I had more buyers, more listings, but buyers could not get approved, homes needed to sell short sale. Short sales were taking months to close, if not a year. Average income being $6,000 per home turned into less than $3,000 a per home.
Closings went from 5 or more a month to 1 if I was lucky. I could not afford my cars, my house, my bills or even groceries.
My 2 year anniversary to my 2nd husband was horrible because for the first time we could not go anywhere. We had $6 in the bank. It was the saddest and most surreal time of my life.
Here we had 4 kids to take care of and we had no idea what to do. My husband worked with me and so this affected both of us. He got a job at Max & Erma's waiting tables and I picked up a few part time jobs. Still not enough. We had our water shut off, bounced our checking account, and used all our credit on our credit cards.
My truck was repossessed and I lost my home after the bank would not approve a short sale. Yea I know, crazy, right? A Realtor losing their home in a foreclosure. It happens every day. Humiliating. I had a buyer for $170,000 after 45 showings and low ball offers. This was the best I would get. I owed $255,000. The bank approved the $170,000 but the investors that back the banks loan wanted $5,000 more. The buyers backed out thinking they were being taken. They thought I was pocketing it. Within 2 weeks my house sold at the sheriff sale.
I was so embarrassed and so sad. I had to pretend life was great with my friends, family and clients. I saw no light at the end of the tunnel.
Times were tough. People I thought were clients and then friends of mine, hit hard times and then tried to sue me for something so ridiculous and untrue. I had to hire an attorney to represent me for something that was nothing but lies. What money I had coming in, I had to pay this attorney.
Then my husband and I separated. Secrets of his past came out and I had to end this marriage. It was horrible for me and the kids. I had actually thought about having an accident so that my kids would get my life insurance. I was at the lowest of low.
I was on my own and broke. I was not going to give up. I knew that I was a survivor and I refused to let my kids suffer. I prayed to God that night and I said to him that I could not do this anymore. I was DONE. I could not take 1 more thing. I said to him that I was putting this all on his shoulder, in his lap and I was not taking it back. From that day on, I decided I was done worrying. I decided I was going to be happy and not let anything or anyone take it away from me.
I dove into bible study classes and Think and Grow Rich. I found out that God wanted me to be happy and he wants me to have what I need and want. He gave me permission to pursue a way of life that would create wealth for my family and I.
He lead me to great opportunities in which I am so grateful. I am paying this forward every day. My mission is to share my story and help as many families as I can create a solid financial future that will not be taken from them.

I had never heard of Chakra until today. I actually was going over and creating a personal manifesto today when I came across this term, Chakra.
A personal manifesto is an audio you create that has several key phrases and statements that you need to hear every day, preferably at night when you are sleeping, that will reprogram your subconscious. This is truly a science that must explored. It is a key to happiness and health.

My husband loves Zombie movies, I love Brad Pitt so World War Z is a movie I can bring myself to watch. He loves, horrors, lots of blood, war movies and death. I think it is disturbing, but life isn't all about rainbows and sunshine :) Darn, I can always dream.
Reviews are mixed as usual but I think it is an interesting story when you dig in deeper as to the research that the author, Max Brooks put in to his book World War Z.
I have not read the book but in all the reviews, as usual, the World War Z movie trailer does not appear to have fans of the book excited to see it. Many are predicting the movie will be a let down after the reading World War Z, by Max Brooks. Isn't that how it usually is? Very rarely do you hear anyone say, Wow this movie was better than the book."

Remember that it's real people that you are messaging so treat them with the respect they deserve. Realize that is an issue and act accordingly.

If they believe another offer is imminent, they are not as likely to be swayed by the current offer to take action.

We all fail at some point
We need to take life's lessons and become stronger and wiser. Let go of the past, look at the positive things and look for ways to improve what you have done.
People often start exercise programs and diets and say they failed. Did they fail or did they just not tweek them to work for them personally?
In business, did we really fail at our past business, or did we look at the positive and work at what was good to make it better? Or maybe the business idea was good but the marketing or products wasn't. Maybe you needed better tools and training.

One way to do this is to create a vision board. You can cut out pictures from magazines, put family photos on, whatever helps you to draw to that vision.
You want this to be goals that you want to accomplish in a few months and in the next year. By doing this, your thoughts will become more than thoughts and actually push you to take action to make your thoughts and visions come true. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and work on finding theright vehicle to take you there.
You can literally manifest your dreams into reality. It has worked for me and that is why I am passionate about sharing this with others.

The problem is that people think that people just naturally succeed. That is just not true. Ever person I know that is successful or have read their stories, shares that they have had their share of failure. But it is what you decide to do next that makes your life either great or bad.
